HDR colour grading and HDR10 encoding

Our HDR colour grading and video encoding can be optimised for direct playback on HDR televisions or for Ultra HD Blu-ray. We have encoded numerous UHD discs, including challenging combinations of heavy film grain and HDR, that have been well received by image enthusiasts.
For Ultra HD Blu-ray production with dynamic metadata, we have our own Indigo Ultra authoring workstation and also work with external partners.
Our workflows take account of standards such as SMPTE ST 2084 and ITU BT.2020, including colour mapping for DCI/P3. We use reference tools, some developed in-house and used by studios around the world. See our software for HDR analysis and quality control
For colour grading, we use a Sony BVM HX-310 reference monitor, which we regularly calibrate ourselves. We also check our work on current televisions with different display technologies.
More information is available on our HDR remastering and colour-grading page.
