Custom HDR test sequences & demonstration films
For display manufacturers, development and product communication
Show a specific display property or investigate a technical question with content made for your task. We develop controlled HDR test sequences for measurement and validation, and HDR films for product demonstrations and exhibitions. We agree the signal parameters, playback system and required versions with you before production.

Develop content for testing and product presentation
A demonstration film should explain a product characteristic. A test sequence should answer a technical question under controlled conditions. We tailor the content and playback to the respective task.
Test sequences for development and picture validation
Compare how your display responds under defined image and timing conditions. Measurement patches, backgrounds and display duration are selected for the property you want to investigate. Depending on your task, you receive static test images, programmatic sequences or video files with documented parameters.
HDR demonstration films for products and exhibitions
Concept, capture or image design and post-production follow the product characteristic and presentation environment. We plan the required versions and check playback on the agreed target system.
Variants and controlled playback
Resolution, frame rate, colour space, HDR method, codec and playback chain are agreed for the project. For comparisons, we distinguish deliberately varied parameters from properties that must remain the same.
Deliverables for your task and target system
- Brief covering the investigation or presentation goal and technical requirements.
- Agreed test images, sequences or film versions for the specified target system.
- Documentation of relevant parameters and playback conditions.
- Agreed usage rights, variants and handover; project files or software only when explicitly included.
Connect film production with HDR display metrology
Your content can combine dynamic HDR test sequences, controlled measurement patches, surrounding images and timing. For a demonstration film, we plan the visible product characteristic and finish the HDR picture for your presentation system. You receive the agreed material with the parameters and usage conditions relevant to its purpose.
From brief to handover
- Define the task and target system
Describe the property to investigate or demonstrate and where the material will play.
- Agree the technical concept and example
We define relevant parameters and variants. A representative example sequence or concept helps us agree the approach with you.
- Create content and check playback
We produce the agreed material and check it in the specified workflow or on the target system.
- Deliver versions and documentation
You receive the agreed deliverables with technical notes and usage conditions.
Questions about custom HDR content
Can you adapt existing test sequences?
Yes. We first review how your current sequences can be adapted for the task, taking account of the technical source data and usage rights. You receive a recommendation on whether an adaptation is sufficient or new content is appropriate for the test.
How do demonstration films differ from measurement sequences?
Demonstration films make a product property visible and understandable. Measurement sequences provide controlled signals for repeatable testing. We develop the content for your purpose and document the relevant signal and timing parameters for measurement sequences. If you need both, we plan suitable content for presentation and testing.
How do you match HDR formats to our playback system?
We plan the format, codec and HDR signalling for your target system and check playback in the agreed setup. You receive versions with documented technical properties for the intended use. Specific player, display or interface requirements are reviewed against your equipment and versions before production.
What usage rights do we receive?
Purpose, duration, territories, exclusivity and editing rights are agreed in the offer. Existing source material must be cleared for the intended use.
Project enquiry
Describe the property to investigate or demonstrate, the target device or playback chain, existing material and your timing. For exhibition or product films, include the audience, presentation environment and required versions.
