Product videos & technical explainer films
For manufacturers, marketing and technical communications
Make your product’s functions and useful details understandable on screen. We develop the visual concept with you, plan the shoot and create suitable versions for your website, presentation or exhibition. Technical statements, framing and picture finishing are aligned with your audience and publication channels.

Explain products and their functions clearly
Your product knowledge becomes a shot plan showing the relevant functions and details. We agree technical statements with your team and test how lighting, framing and colour processing convey them. You can review the visual approach before the production is completed.
Explain product functions clearly
Show an application or detail through suitable subjects and a clear shot sequence. We agree the technical statement with your product team.
Reveal materials and workmanship
Lighting, perspective and movement follow the important properties of your product. A detail shot lets you assess the effect before continuing the shoot.
Plan versions for your channels
Decide with us where the film will be published. Subjects and framing consider the required landscape and portrait versions during capture.
From FF Pictures’ practice
Explaining colour: a contribution for Nanosys
The film shows red, green and blue quantum-dot liquids glowing under UV light. Jeff Yurek shot the footage; Florian Friedrich contributed post-production and colour analysis. We consider capture and colour processing together when planning technical product films.

SUN@HOME: a series of clips in a dressed house
Several clips were produced for the Osram / LEDVANCE advertising campaign. Around 40 people were involved overall. A house was furnished and decorated, with non-destructive custom modifications for lighting placement. Set preparation, lighting placement, filming and finishing were coordinated for the clip series.

Questions before commissioning
Which picture format suits our product film?
The format is chosen for your publication channels and the devices on which the film will be shown. SDR may suit a website or social media release, while an HDR product demonstration can have different requirements. We explain the options and plan the versions you intend to use.
What helps in an initial conversation?
Product details, audience, intended channels, available samples and schedule. You do not need to have a script already.
Project enquiry
Include the product, functions to demonstrate, target audience, publication channels and schedule. We agree the scope and technical approach with you.
