8k spatial resolution versus contrast pattern

The perception of spatial resolution is influenced by its contrast.
So in order to see the resolution, there’s also a minimum contrast requirement.
With increasing contrast, the information in the image may benefit from higher spatial frequencies. A good example are stars in the sky. They are much smaller to the eye than pixels of 8K-TVs and still we’re able to see them!

Further information about this 8K pattern will follow.
